Body in Action

In the morning after greetings went to ‘’Body in Action’’ we at the museum. There were two people there to help; Nicky and Imo. The activities were fun as. My favourite activity was the hammer and the disgusting board game. What you have to do is go up the stairs into the mouth with a dice. You play a game by rolling a dice and go onto the number. Some of the numbers have sounds on them. It was the BEST!

On My Holidays

On Sunday I went to Joe R’s birthday party at Happy Valley. On the same day my Nan left to go to England. On Thursday I went to the gym with my friend James then I went to James’ house for a sleep over. We normally play ping pong and play station except for the hydro slide. One week after James was sick so Jackson came instead

On Saturday my Nan came to my house from England. She gave us heaps of presents. My favourite was a bionical. Yesterday I lost my tooth at Mac Donalds.

The worst day ever

On Wednesday at Nelson it was raining. By the time it was morning tea time it picked up. At lunch time it was pouring down. It turned into a storm .Then the worst day ever started. When Jackson came to my house the power went off. At least fifty trees fell down.

Cars

Too many people are wasting fuel driving to short distance places. In my opinion people should walk to school instead of going in a car.
I think everyone should stop driving cars for a little while. People should immediately stop using the car every day. Please!
So that’s why you need to walk.

Computer Kids

We are learning to write an argument that will persuade the reader to agree with our point of view. We need to include:
• An introduction which states the problem and tells our opinion,
• Reasons for our opinion,
• An ending which restates our opinion.
The first one we have written is about what needs to happen so we get a fair turn using the computer at home.
Eight year olds have trouble getting to use the computer at home. In my opinion, kids should have their very own computer. Kids would not have to share the computers and you would not have to wait for your older brother or sister. I think computers should cost less and parents could get computers. People would not have to wait for ever.

What Central Means to ME

I love playing football because it keeps you fit. It is fun and gets you going. You have to co-operate. I play with people like Jackson, Dylan, Troy and other kids from every single classroom, so it takes a long time to sort out the teams, but it’s worth it. We laugh when the ball goes out. I hope people keep playing football at our school.
